A Company and Family Gathering in One: Veselé sele
In June, we managed to fit in one more event – our traditional and most beloved gathering for employees and their families. The Lanáček park in Otrokovice, affectionately known among us as Veselé sele, once again offered an afternoon full of fun, connection and shared moments.
Children enjoyed the rope centre, trampolines, go-karts and sweet treats. Adults appreciated the spit-roasted pig, a delicious buffet, informal conversations and a chance to spend time with colleagues outside of work. More than 200 of us gathered, and the atmosphere was fantastic, boosted by a raffle with valuable prizes.
The event was a great way to kick off the summer holidays.
Thank you to everyone who helped organize it, and to those who came and made the afternoon so enjoyable.

Dudr Tools at the Zlín Half Marathon
This year, we truly enjoyed the Zlín Half Marathon. We proudly lined up with three company relay teams made up of colleagues from all across Dudr Tools. The atmosphere was fantastic, and every runner gave it their all.
Thank you to everyone who participated or came to support us. This sporting challenge once again reminded us how strong our team spirit at Dudr Tools really is.
We’re already looking forward to next year – and maybe with even more runners on the starting line.
Dudr Tools at the Landmark LIGNA 2025
From May 26 to 30, 2025, we took part in the 50th anniversary edition of the LIGNA international trade fair in Hannover, the world’s leading event for the woodworking and wood processing industry.
At our 80 m² exhibition stand, we presented our bandsaw blades, circular saw blades, and the Shark 600 grinding machine from our partner Kohlbacher – which attracted so much interest that it was sold directly at the fair. The standout feature of the stand was a central wooden panel with product samples, which drew the attention of visitors from all over the world. A new addition this year was live greenery, which added warmth and a pleasant atmosphere to the space.
Over the course of five busy days, we strengthened relationships with existing partners and also established new business connections in countries such as the UK, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. We engaged in valuable discussions with visitors from over 10 countries worldwide, including the USA, Australia, India, Angola, and Israel, among others.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand for your time, interest, inspiring conversations, and the friendly atmosphere you helped create. We truly appreciate every meeting and look forward to future collaborations.

Christmas break
As you have already noted in previous years, our Dudr team will enjoy a Christmas break during this year’s Christmas holidays as well. Our deliveries will take place until Wednesday 18 December 2024 and we will be on our way to you again on Monday 6 January 2025.
So the Christmas break will be from 19 December 2024 to 6 January 2025. If this break affects your plans, please do not hesitate to contact our sales representatives as soon as possible – they are available and happy to help you find a solution.
London awaits us
Our success in the We invest in people project, sealed by the acquisition of an internationally recognized standard in the field of human resources development, has an unexpectedly pleasant continuation for us. Not only were we shortlisted for the top 20 best accredited global firms from countries outside the UK. But we even reached the TOP 5 IIP World Awards in our category. The overall winner will be revealed on 14.11. during the gala evening in London. Keep your fingers crossed!
Dudr Tools gain the HR standard
We invest in people is the only internationally recognized human resources development tool through which companies can improve by engaging their employees. The growth of our company and the need to give a certain order and introduce rules to everything related to the management of the employee motivated us to apply for the We invest in people project. Participating in the project itself required complex preparation, we went through a demanding process that brought with it a number of positive effects, such as faster implementation of changes, better communication, higher cooperation or building a team spirit among employees. We successfully passed the audit and in June of this year we gained the We invest in people standard, thereby sealing two years of hard work to improve the quality of human resources management. The icing on the cake was the announcement from London that we were included in the short list of the top 20 best accredited global companies from countries outside Great Britain.
Summer holidays
We would like to inform you that our company will be closed from 3.7.2023 till 7.7.2023 because of summer holidays. During this period our production and services will be limited.
On the 27th calendar week we will not accept any orders, so we ask that you secure bandsaw blades and circular saws in advance.
We look forward to seeing you again in the 28th calendar week.
After a year, Lanáček again
Our most popular Dudr family day event in Lanáček was successful again. In the beginning the weather greeted us with a garden shower, but with the start of the event, the sun came out as expected. The amount of adults and children numbered almost 200 guests. The spaces of the area were filled with heads wearing red Dudr hats. The great magician Tomasiano first entertained the children, and then with his micro magic and card tricks, he gradually amazed the numerous groups of spectators. The daredevils enjoyed the adrenaline attractions. Our stomachs experienced euphoria in the form of tasty catering and roast pork. Everything went perfectly. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
